A few things to note when applying your CUTEK® Pre-Mixed Samples:
The samples are provided at a double strength of CUTEK® Colortone – one coat with the sample will represent the color intensity of two coats at single strength, or one of double strength.
The test area or piece of wood should be bare, clean and dry, before applying, having the wood in the same (or close) condition as the project will be for the full application will provide the best conditions for the color selection. Sanding smooth wood with 80 grit sandpaper will help provide a good color result, ensure it is wiped free of dust before application. Sanding is not necessary on rough or textured surfaces.

As the oil penetrates into the wood the wet look will fade down, and you will be left with a matte finish.
Choosing a sunny area to test or place the sample in will help with the penetration/drying process. Typically, the surface will be dry in 3-5 days, but allowing
