What It Won’t Do
Quickclean is built for routine cleaning, not heavy-duty restoration — a couple of limitations worth knowing before you start:
- It won’t lift deep or stubborn stains like iron marks, water marks, tannins, resin, mold, or mildew. For those, reach for CUTEK® Wood Reviver instead.
- It won’t remove paint or existing coatings. For that job, use CUTEK® Wood Stripper.

Keep in mind: this is a concentrate, so dilution is required, not optional. Both the ratio and the coverage you’ll actually get shift with surface type and how much buildup you’re cleaning — test first to confirm it’s working the way you expect.
How to Apply It
- Dilute CUTEK® Quickclean with water at the ratio your test confirmed
- Try the mixed solution on a small area first
- Pre-wet the surface with plain water
- Apply it generously with a brush, roller, broom, or low-pressure garden sprayer
- Let it dwell for 5–15 minutes
- Scrub any stubborn spots lightly with a stiff-bristle brush
Rinsing & Cleanup
Rinse the surface thoroughly with water once you’re done. A pressure washer around 750 PSI (50 bar) with a fan tip gives the best result, though a hose or bucket with a bit of scrubbing works fine if pressure washing isn’t practical.
A couple of tips for protecting the wood while you rinse:
- Skip turbo or rotary nozzles — they can gouge the wood fibers
- Adjust your pressure and standoff distance to suit the surface
- Work from the highest point downward, in long even strokes that follow the grain
Once you’re finished, rinse your tools and equipment with plain water, and dispose of the wash water according to your local regulations.
